Cardiac coherence is a term that describes a condition with high physical and mental efficiency. The heart has approx. 40,000 neurons, which attach to your emotional brain. The more inner balance and positive emotions you have, the more your heart is in harmony and tells you that your brain should be calm. It helps the ideas to flow and stress to go down.

Does it beat very fast or rhythmically and calmly? If you are truly relaxed, your heart rate will be normal and your mind will flow calmly, free from pressure and negativity. However, if you yourself have a fast or irregular heartbeat, you are probably in a state of stress or high anxiety. Your heart and brain think you are in danger.

As you can infer, emotions like fear, stress or anger make your heart beat fast and irregularly. When this happens, it causes biochemical and organic chaos. The imbalance extends to the rest of the organs, especially your brain. In fact, your heart sends a lot more information to your brain than vice versa. This amazing technique is made of nerve fibers that go from the heart to the base of the skull.

Now you can see that emotions we call negative, such as anger or irritation, trigger heart chaos. However, it should also be said that something as common as ever to worry about or be tense due to work or conditions, also disturbs the harmony. They also cause irregular heartbeats.

Good heart coherence has, as you may have guessed, innumerable benefits. Not only will you feel much better physically, but you will also make your brain more efficient when you process information, generate ideas and connect with the present.

But how do we do that? How can we increase cardiac coherence? Here are some keys.
